Cookie policy
Last updated: April 2026
Overview
This policy explains how DFB Warden (“we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and web application. It should be read together with our Privacy policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use analogous technologies such as local storage for cookie preference choices, so we remember your decision across visits.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for core functionality: keeping your session after wallet sign-in, security, load balancing, and remembering that you have made a cookie choice. These are not used for advertising. They are set based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure service (and, where applicable, performing our contract with you).
dfb_session— HTTP-only session cookie after SIWE (typical path “/”; duration up to 7 days unless you sign out).dfb_warden_cookie_consent_v1— localStorage entry storing your analytics preference (not an HTTP cookie; same purpose as a preference cookie).
Optional — analytics
Only if you click Accept all in the banner. We may load analytics scripts (for example to measure page views and errors in the aggregate). You can withdraw consent anytime via Cookie preferences in the footer; we will stop loading new analytics calls from that point forward.
Managing preferences
Use Cookie preferences in the site footer to reopen the banner. You can also clear site data in your browser settings; that will sign you out and reset stored preferences.
Updates
We may update this policy when we change tracking technologies. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
